This unique and exclusive batik painting on cotton is delicately hand drawn using the 'canting' and 'tulis' methods, whereby hot wax is flown decorously on the cotton cloth then vividly painted by the master batik artist, Dolah.
It's dawn time and the fishermen are starting their daily ritual by meticulously tending every inches of their fishing nets before they sail out to the ocean. Using complex batik techniques, the artisan skillfully captured the moment in this batik masterpiece.
